Mira Floor Standing Music Box by Mermod Frères, Ste-Croix, Switzerland, playing 18" discs on a double comb movement with two sliding dampers in a mahogany case decorated with tinted gold and silver leaf foliate transfers, with brass handles over two doors with storage for discs, all resting on slipper feet
CONDITION:
the box sounds excellent. All teeth on comb are intact. There 24 discs accompanying the box. Some of the beading around edge where doors close is absent. top with Old English scratch repairs. The case retains its original finish.
